Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 21, 2026
This policy explains how our Instagram chatbot (the “Bot”) handles information when you send it a message or otherwise interact with it on Instagram.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies only to people who voluntarily interact with the Bot — by sending it a direct message, replying to a story, or commenting where the Bot is active. If you never interact with the Bot, we do not collect anything about you.
2. What we collect
We receive from Instagram only what is publicly available or what you send us directly:
- Your public Instagram username, account ID, and profile picture
- Your public display name, if you have set one
- The content of the messages, comments, or replies you send to the Bot
- Basic technical metadata such as message timestamps
We do not collect private account details, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, contact lists, location data, or any content from accounts that have not interacted with the Bot.
3. How we use it
- To read your message and send you a relevant reply
- To keep short-term conversation context so replies make sense
- To diagnose errors and keep the Bot working reliably
- To prevent spam, abuse, and misuse of the Bot
That is the full list. We do not use your information for anything else.
4. What we never do
- We never sell, rent, or trade your information — to anyone, for any price
- We never share it with advertisers or data brokers
- We never build advertising profiles from it
- We never scrape or gather data from users who have not messaged the Bot
5. Who we share it with
We share information only where it is necessary to operate the Bot: with Meta/Instagram (which already holds it, as the platform the conversation happens on) and with the service providers that host our infrastructure and process messages on our behalf. These providers may only act on our instructions. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so.
6. How long we keep it
We keep conversation data only as long as needed to provide the service — typically no longer than 90 days — after which it is deleted. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
7. Your choices
- Stop messaging the Bot at any time; no further data is collected
- Block the Bot’s account in Instagram to end all interaction
- Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, using the contact below
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted transport and restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit risk by collecting as little as possible in the first place.
9. Children
The Bot is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has interacted with the Bot, contact us and we will delete the data.
10. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Bot after a change means you accept the updated policy.
